From curious and clueless to established entrepreneur...

Curious
- Back in early 2007 I was curious about starting an online business. My
wife tried a business with a cosmetic line, but it wasn't a fit for our
family.
- In effort to make some extra income I began to "try out" various
opportunities. I was wondering if I was joining the wrong opportunities, or
if I was just not designed to have my own business.
Clueless
- I loved the idea of creating an extra income on a part time basis, but had
NO IDEA how to go about it.
- I joined WAY too many opportunities trying to figure things out. I had no
background in business or marketing, so my learning curve was large. I was
told that "anyone" can do it, but I found this to be untrue.
- I was determined to succeed so I began purchasing education from those who
had done it successfully. I read and bought course after course learning the
in's and out's of marketing, business, internet marketing, etc... This is
where I should have started in the first place.
Today I'm an established entrepreneur
with multiple streams of income. I replaced our first income back in August
of 2008 am working to replace the second one now. I don't believe in getting
wealthy overnight. This was not my experience and not the experience of most
legitimate home business owners. The small percentage of those successful in
this industry have done so by learning from the right people and applying
that knowledge to build a solid foundation.
